Why I Do Not Show My Fees On My Website

In the payment options section of my website, I do not include how much I charge per session. While I understand the cost of therapy can be expensive, I have qualms about publicizing my fee. If I did, it can be found quickly (whether from a search engine, a directory listing or an AI search) and then compared to other therapists, as if my services were being shopped as a vacuum cleaner.

What gets diluted in the process of narrowing down therapy to cost is its benefits (sometimes even life-changing), the customization of therapy to a person's needs, issues and goals and the therapist's experience, training(s), education and continuing education.

If you have to prioritize low cost, I highly recommend the Open Path Collective. On this platform, therapists are available at a discounted rate based on your income which you provide when you register.

Feel free to reach out to me by phone, text or email and I will be happy to disclose my fees.
